After completing the first screening visit on August 27, our team continued screening activity immediately in this recent Phase 2b cardiovascular study.
Three additional participants were screened on August 28, followed by another participant on September 3, bringing the total to five participants screened by September 3. Screening does not necessarily mean enrollment or randomization.
Turning activation into screening activity
A site can be activated without immediately producing screening activity. The transition requires recruitment workflows, candidate follow-up, scheduling, investigator availability, source preparation, and study procedures to be ready at the same time.
The early screening activity in this study reflects preparation across the full site team rather than a single recruitment event.
A shared effort
We appreciate the coordinators, investigators, study partners, and participants involved in reaching these milestones. Clinical research execution depends on each part of that collaboration working together.
We share operational milestones like these to give sponsors and CROs a clearer picture of how Wellness Clinical Research moves from startup into active screening.
