The work was published in the January 2023 supplement of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and reported results from an open-label study in participants whose disease was refractory or intolerant to anti-TNF and/or anti-integrin therapy.
Published research in a difficult-to-treat population
The publication evaluated neihulizumab, an antibody targeting CD162, also known as PSGL-1, in participants with moderate to severe active ulcerative colitis who were refractory or intolerant to anti-TNF and/or anti-integrin therapy.
The study evaluated two dosing regimens and reported clinical response, remission, mucosal healing, histological healing, safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity outcomes.
