The 2024 peer-reviewed article, “Integrated Safety and Efficacy Analyses of Phase 3 Trials of a Microbiome Therapeutic for Recurrent CDI,” names Lucky Flores among the ECOSPOR III and ECOSPOR IV investigators.

Integrated Phase 3 recurrent CDI research

The publication evaluated safety and efficacy data from two Phase 3 trials of VOWST oral spores, previously known as SER-109, following standard-of-care antibiotics for recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection.

The integrated analysis assessed treatment-emergent adverse events and recurrent CDI rates through follow-up.
